As an embedded systems engineer, I developed, debugged, and maintained embedded Linux software and firmware for IP telephone and camera systems. I created video and audio streaming pipelines for embedded products utilizing Gstreamer. Additionally, I developed internal desktop applications, custom hardware, and firmware to facilitate provisioning, troubleshooting, and testing of IP-based products. My responsibilities also included schematic and PCBA design for custom hardware integral to product development. Furthermore, I engaged in drafting and designing objects used in the development and production of products through both additive and traditional manufacturing methods.

I focused on the development, debugging, and maintenance of embedded firmware for IP telephone products. I developed embedded web services for ONVIF compliance and managed compliance testing for the X-Series product line. Additionally, I developed, managed, and improved internal software build processes utilizing Git, Docker, Bash, TCL, and Python for the development of embedded applications. I also incorporated additive manufacturing into R&D processes to aid in the development of products and test-related hardware.

Developing custom electronics and accessories for PEV's (Personal Electric Vehicle's)

Developed firmware and embedded software for Bluetooth products. Worked on automated unit testing, as well as system validation testing on embedded hardware using pytest. Reviewed and modified source code to bring up to MISRA-C:2012 compliance utilizing C-STAT security compliance tools from IAR. Wrote application software for interfacing with embedded Bluetooth devices.

I developed circuits, PCBs, firmware, and desktop applications for TMR/GMR sensor evaluation kits. I also designed internal equipment to automate the plating of integrated circuits during the pandemic-induced shutdowns. Additionally, I improved additive manufacturing processes used internally to enhance R&D and testing procedures. I drafted and designed custom integrated circuit test fixtures using compliant mechanisms for highly sensitive spintronic-related components.

I developed circuits, PCBs, firmware, and desktop applications for TMR/GMR sensor evaluation kits. I also debugged and troubleshot high-voltage test equipment embedded firmware. Additionally, I redesigned test fixtures for highly sensitive sensors as compliant mechanisms, leveraging state-of-the-art additive manufacturing processes using non-ferromagnetic materials.

I contributed to a team developing and maintaining WPF C# desktop applications for laser manufacturing equipment running on Windows 7 and 10. I also developed and maintained CI pipelines using Team City and Jenkins to automate the build, installation, and testing of applications. Additionally, I designed custom embedded Linux software for product testing laser manufacturing hardware by field service technicians.

I specialized in C# and WPF development for Windows 7 and 10. I developed automated application testing using the Ranorex framework. Additionally, I used Team City and Jenkins to manage a continuous integration system responsible for building desktop applications and triggering automated testing with Ranorex.
