• Managed a program with a staff of 90 persons and an annual grant portfolio that averaged $35 million dollars and focused on AIDs (AIDSRelief) and OVC (7D SUN) and developed agriculture as a new sector. These major awards were funded by various donors BMGF, CDC and USAID. • Managed multiple humanitarian responses in conjunction with Church partners in the dioceses of Kano, Jos, Makurdi and in other states in which there were manmade emergencies related to interethnic conflict. Responded to drought condition in northern Nigeria through the diocese of Sokoto. • I worked closely with senior Nigerian Church leadership to establish the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria, the Nigerian Church’s organization for Relief and Development as they began to manage public donor project activity. In addition I supervised the CRS Emergency Officer in his capacity building relationship with the Nigerian Justice and Peace Office in joint responses in which vouchers for in kind items were introduced in Nigeria, emergencies were jointly assessed and CI appeals and reports were collaboratively written.
