Co-founder of Hidden Trax, which is aiming to redefine the city visitor experience. I also now provide consulting and mentoring services to business and education, building on my global experience in leading startups, turning round major organizations and leading global operations improvement projects.Previously I was with Microsoft joining in 1997, moving to the USA to set up their Latin American Support Business. Prior to that I had my own consulting business in Edinburgh. In my time with Microsoft I held a number of roles always working across areas or globally. I was frequently involved in leading change in major parts of Microsoft's support and services business. This included setting up major new support organizations and infrastructure such as in Latin America or with their global delivery model. I was also involved in major turnarounds of underperforming parts of the business such as the German support business and the Global Support Center in India. My final role in Microsoft was working on driving change and restructuring engineering teams and their processes working with our global leadership and leveraging lean processes.I have lived and worked in UK, USA, Germany and India and have rich experience working across countries and cultures. I also have experience working with software development teams, outsourced partners and in leading large organizations, and always leading change or new developments.
