I am currently in a new role developed specifically for me to maximize my US Navy and business executive experience. I am the Prime Liaison Business Consultant at American Technology Solutions Corporation (ATSI) supporting the Navy Small Business Innovative Research Transition Program (Navy STP). I am also the Founder & Principal of Silver Eagle Approach, LLC. I was formerly the Vice President & General Manager of Insitu Defense from May 2013 until August 1, 2021. In this role, I was responsible for all aspects of domestic and international defense and government-related lines of business. My team of program managers, systems engineers, logisticians and UAS training and operations experts were responsible for program execution on behalf of Insitu’s global customers. Prior to joining Insitu, I served as Vice President, Maritime Surveillance Solutions, Radar Systems Division, Telephonics Corporation, Long Island, NY.I proudly served for 26 years as a Naval Aviator and retired from active duty at the rank of Captain. I flew more than 3,500 hours in SH60B and MH60R aircraft. My final active-duty assignment was Commander, Helicopter Maritime Strike Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet at NAS North Island in San Diego, California. I also served as the Executive Officer and Air Boss of the USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA 3) and Commanding Officer of HSL-37. I am a Trustee for the Naval Helicopter Association (NHA) and I volunteer at the Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles, OR.
