Tech lead and C++/Java developer for six-person development team on Boeing’s Future Combat Systems (FCS) project in the Communication Services service family.• Led C++ and Java implementations of a Data Local Reconstruction Layer (DLRL), athread-safe object-oriented layer over a DDS publish-subscribe framework. Made extensive use ofC++ templates, template specializations and STL. Delivered on time with extensive automated tests exceeding client's expectations. Wrote DLRL Developer's Guide..• Used Valgrind to discover and repair performance bottlenecks in the DDS publish-subscribe layerunderneath the DLRL. Improved DDS performance by 75% on certain very large data sets. Also discovered and repaired several resource leaks, deadlocks, race conditions and specificationincompatibilities in the DDS publish-subscribe layer underneath DLRL.• Primary liaison between OCI and Boeing; mentored new OCI engineers on FCS conventions. OCI’s footprint on FCS grew to 17 engineers based on our team’s delivery record, and OCI wasnamed Future Combat Systems Small Business Supplier of the Year for 2007 across the FCS project.
