Program ManagerNaval Air Systems Command (Navair) Jan 2011 - Mar 2018Patuxent River, Maryland, UsControl Systems & Connectivity ADPM for PMA-268 (Unmanned Carrier Aviation). As a Team Leader in the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Program Office, I grew a 3 person concept development team into a diverse one of 120+ government and contract employees to deliver Control Systems, Communications and Intelligence exploitations systems required for effective employment of the MQ-25 Carrier Based Unmanned Aircraft system. I am managing a $40M+/yr. effort delivering future carrier and shore based capabilities on schedule and under budget by re-using and modifying existing Navy programs for airborne and satellite networks, common control systems and intelligence exploitation. This approach reduced the amount of new development needed to meet program requirements, thus saving the gov’t well over $200M that would be incurred developing standalone, single purpose systems. -

Senior ConsultantDeloitte Consulting May 2009 - Jan 2010Worldwide, OoI provided E-2 Hawkeye subject matter expertise and management services to PMA-231 (E-2 Hawkeye Program Office) Advanced Development Integrated Product Team. During this assignment I was tasked with leading a team to identify new technologies that could address known and unidentified (future) capability gaps in the E-2C Hawkeye. My team performed the transition of identified technologies into flight worthy configurations by creating relevant testing methodologies. I successfully lead a diverse Science & Technology team including resources from ONR, SPAWAR, NAVAIR and industry. Our efforts would lead to bi-annual events to determine the military utility of the proposed capability packages during large, joint and operationally relevant technology demonstrations. I lead this diverse team in all phases of event execution including requirements generation to outline the strategy and purpose, all aspects of project management including developing cost and schedule estimates while keeping Program and Executive Leadership advised on project status, risks, changes and results. My team’s effort lead to the rapid transition of 3 technologies into the deployed Hawkeye configuration with a direct and meaningful improvement in operational effectiveness. -
