Supervise one-half of the largest city operations in Yellow Transportation system of companies. Responsibilities are to plan the most efficient delivery routes possible in our service area in respect to service standards, freight levels, appointments, and driver start times. Consistently meets and/or exceeds dock production goal of 3.5 bills per hour. Directly responsible for two to five employees. However, supervise duties of up to one hundred union employees.

Duties include supervising, directing and dispatching for city and line haul drivers as well as providing customer service. Provided dock work responsibilities as needed also. Sometimes took on terminal manager responsibilities when necessary.

Managed, maintained and monitored all existing accounts while acquiring new business. Made 40-75 phone calls per day in order to meet and exceed new business goals, call goals, and revenue generation goals. Assisted outside sales team through lead generation, follow up of business progress, and distribution of promotional materials.
