As a senior level executive, I played a key role in all aspects of organizational management and maintenance and reliability operations including preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM) and reliability continuous improvement programs. I was the go-to-resource for Instrument, Electrical, Analyzer & Control Systems engineering, workflow management, and PM optimization. I devised continuous improvements by leveraging FMEA, RCA, RCM, and Life Cycle Cost Analysis. During my tenure I played two major roles: ♦ SME for electrical safety/arc flash mitigation: I participated in IEEE SCC18 (NFPA standards) and IEEE 1584 – Guide for Performing Arc Flash Hazard Calculations. I conducted over 30 in-person and virtual training sessions and trained over 350 participants for the same.♦ Reliability consultant: I conducted reliability benchmark assessments. Major client was Enbridge for whom I provided consulting services on the Asset health and reliability engineering work stream, identified targeted equipment, performed equipment criticality classification, and maintenance task optimization. As a result of my initiatives client secured annual savings of about 25% ($5-6M).

I provided technical and managerial leadership for engineering, construction management and technical support team for operation and implementation of midstream assets. I established the scope of capital and expense projects and coordinated with Business Development and Product Supply teams to align projects with organizational objectives. I also carried out facility assessments to determine and prioritize future projects. My chief accomplishments include:♦ Strategic review of business segments to reduce OPEX by 15% and CAPEX by 30%, improve system reliability by 10%, shorten project execution window by 6 weeks, move from an area to asset focus, create Business Improvement Teams to focus on revenues, expenses and asset reliability, and standardize engineering design and utilization of technology♦ Development and execution of the Division Budget with annual budget of $38.5M in expense and $64.5M in capital investment. I led the Technical Services Group (Engineering, Technology Management, Research & Development and Venture Capital supporting Saudi operations of Aramco). My team consisted of nine direct reportees and overall 134 staff. We handled everything from strategic business planning, staffing requirement, budget management, establishment of KPIs, operation levels, and contract management and negotiations. I created Technology Briefs and Emerging Technology Reports.Two of my major projects during this tenure include:1. Set up and management of two Satellite Research & Development (R&D) facilities at Boston and Detroit respectively. I hired the research domain experts for the facilities. 2. Establishment and management of Venture Capital group (Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures). It was also my duty to determine potential investment opportunities, carry out due diligence, and draft memoranda Some of my other notable accomplishments include: ● Effectively managed 300+ contracts worth over $3B.● Saved over $250M by enabling technological solutions through innovations.● Conceptualized, organized, and led Saudi Aramco Global Reliability Forum.
