I am passionate at helping customers succeed in projects and in solving their complex technical issues. In my over 20 years experience, I have architected SAP solutions both on-prem and cloud. I get excited and love new technology. My cloud journey started early, probably even before the world heard of Netflix and Dropbox. In 2012 I helped a large New Zealand government department implement SAP HR with servers on AWS in the US, with my team spread across NZ, and SAP HR developers connecting securely from overseas. That hugely successful project allowed more than 10,000 personnel securely access their personal HR record (time, leave, salary, etc.) in NZ and from wherever they get deployed in the world. Since then I helped many customers in their cloud journey, migrating and/or installing  complex and large systems with terrabytes of data. To me every job is an exciting problem solving exercise, using technology to its full potential. I always bring new ideas to improve and to get things better. I take pride on customers successful go-lives. I am humbled when customers recognise our achievements and when they seek me to be part of a poject, or simply asking for advice. Donald helps customers in the full lifecycle of their SAP solutions - from infrastructure design and requirements, may it be on-premise to on-demand/cloud, to the architecture and piecing together various building blocks of the solution, working with various business and technical groups to ensure the solution is fit for purpose; to the actual hands-on installation of various SAP products on various databases and platform, or systems migration, authoring disaster recovery solutions and processes, through to development of secure solutions including authoring various single-signon solutions, to supporting the project in solution documentation, test management, platform and go live readiness using SAP Solution Manager, and throughout the ongoing maintenance, daily operational support and full lifecycle of various critical and high profile IT solutions following the industry standard ITIL processes. In his previous role, Donald was part of a global IT outsourcing company that manages the SAP and Siebel operations of a fortune 500 customer operating in a global support model and following the industry standard ITIL processes.
