Donald Gershman is the founder and principal of Development Resources LLC, a private real estate development and investment company focused on unique development opportunities, often involving public-private partnerships or brownfield remediation. Don has hands-on involvement in site selection, project design, underwriting and financing, and negotiations with government officials, partners and investors for multifamily, industrial, medical office, and data center development and redevelopment projects in the northeastern United States. Don formed the company after concluding a 20-year career as a senior executive and as general counsel of a large vertically integrated real estate development company.In addition, Don serves as CEO of an early stage medical device startup affiliated with the University of Connecticut’s Technology Incubation Program and, for over a decade, has enjoyed teaching Real Estate Transactions as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law.Specialties: Real estate acquisitions, development, leasing and finance; business management; startups and government grant programs.
