As Director of Product Management for our suite of secure access products, I am responsible for setting the strategic direction for the product line. With 14,000+ customers, our secure Enterprise Remote Support solution is used by the largest, most recognizable, and most secure organizations in the world. In this role, I lead a team of Product Managers responsible for driving growth in our core product and extended product line.Some of these initiatives include:- Continuous improvement of Bomgar's cloud offering which grew 230% YoY. - Ongoing enhancements to our enterprise remote support solution used by service desks, security teams, and IT operations to both improve the reach and security posture of the organization. Certifications like FIPS-140-2 (Level 2) enable organizations in the most extreme regulatory environments to still remotely access devices.- Bringing this technology to the SMB market with a purpose-built and secure solution.- Drive IAM and Privileged Access initiatives with first-ever capabilities for remote access drastically reducing exposure of privileged credentials. As Product Manager I was responsible for both the Secure Enterprise Remote Support and new Privileged Access Management products.Security market research and engagement including attending InfoSec Europe in London, Black Hat and DefCon in Las Vegas, and speaking at the Identity Management conference in Amsterdam where we performed a live hack on stage which highlighted the need for a different approach to identity and access security.For 2015 - New Cloud offering established a differentiated position in a crowded space and 2x revenue objectives- New PAM offering received analyst recognition in less than two months after launch and achieved aggressive revenue targets for its inaugural year- Flagship enterprise remote support product maintained its position as #1 in Enterprise remote support worldwide

As a Senior Product Engineer I represented the voice of the customer and market by advocating for product enhancements as well as new adjacencies. Worked across the organization to train sales, marketing, support, etc. and launch the release. Responded to advanced product questions and implementation design strategies especially for our largest accounts.During this time, some of my market research, partnering with sales and marketing colleagues, took us to a new market entrance into Privileged Access Management and Identity & Access Management. Through existing customer interviews, analysts (Forrester, Gartner, etc.), competitive analysis, and win/loss programs, we developed a strategy to use the knowledge we had gained developing a secure remote access solution and purpose build a product designed for the Privileged Access Management space. We developed the strategy, requirements, and worked across the organization to build a launch a standalone offering in less than 9 months. Within 2 months it had already received industry accolades and carved a niche. By the end of 2015, it achieved aggressive bookings goals for its first year.I also built the operational and financial models as well as business plan for Bomgar's new Cloud offering. The initiative included market and competitive research, work with our board/investors, and investigating / selecting the partner we would use for hosting. The financial model proved extremely accurate and the Cloud offering ultimately generated more than 200% of the board's revenue targets for 2015.Research included attending Gartner's IAM conference in Las Vegas.My other responsibilities and accomplishments included:- Initiated win/loss program- Developed more formal PM customer engagement program- Responsible for product enhancements for multiple releases of Bomgar's flagship product per year- Initiated new, more in depth market research programs resulting in faster time to market and better customer reception.

Recruited by CTO to develop system requirements, conduct analysis and design, and construct system development artifacts to support hardware, firmware, and software development as well as quality assurance efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products.- Collaborated with all groups in SmartSynch from marketing to developers to build robust, meaningful requirements for two new platforms, resulting in a product development cycle reduction of 30%.- Conducted thorough analyses on new platforms’ features and interfaces which proved to bring in house the expertise necessary to successful develop the new products that would have otherwise had to have been sought externally saving the company more than $30,000.

Promoted by Engineering VP to specialize role to analyze data and implement new testing methods for the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) to ensure compliance with stringent Department of Defense accuracy requirements. Hold secret–level security clearance.- Collaborated with software engineering, analysts, and GPS engineers to develop and certify simulation platform capable of cutting testing time for evaluating system availability and integrity for GPS anti-jam technology from 3 months to 8 days.- Collaborated with Army customer on a multi­phase study investigating performance of four anti­-jam technologies on helicopter platforms for precision landing. Combined five simulation tools to create inertial, GPS, jamming, and other processing in a Monte Carlo analysis, which will produce highly representative accuracy results with no costs due to hardware or field data collection, saving Honeywell and our customer nearly $500k.

Hired to assist in the development of new features for the Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System for a $52 million contract with Boeing. Manage a 1 to 2-person co–op team, guiding the functional and performance testing of almost 400 requirements for the system. Coordinated a 10-discipline team compiling the $500,000 design, build, and test budget for a system circuit card. Saved $150,000 using Six Sigma tools. Hold secret–level security clearance.- Key contributor to the team undertaking the largest DO-­178B Level A certification in company history, creating many processes which were immediately adopted by other programs.- Developed a tool used by team to track status, set goals, and guarantee thorough testing and review of each requirement. Avoided rerun of the Functional Qualification Test saving approximately $100,000 per run.- Provided the leadership that reduced an 18-­month projected timeframe for the design, build, and test of a circuit card to meet the customer’s 10-­month timeframe.

Collaborated with electrical and mechanical engineering teams in designing automated systems used for all product assemblies. Programmed PLCs by configuring process timing, setting tasks, enabling function tests, and initiating quality inspections for the entire manufacturing line.

Liaised with representatives from two major client accounts (Intel and Cisco) in designing code modifications, writing software, testing new and existing products, and improving workflow processes.
