Recovco was designed to perform forensic underwriting of mortgage loans. In essence, re-underwrite the loan going back 3,4,5 years to the date it was originally underwritten and determine if it was done properly. We were hired by many of the largest institutions to represent them on loans they were required to repurchase. We won on 82% of the files we reviewed, thereby overturning the repurchase request and saving the firm mucho dinero. I ran national sales and in short order signed: JPM Chase, Bank of America, Citicorp, Morgan Stanley and Fannie Mae to name just a few.

After taking time off, I started a newspaper catering to the Youth Soccer movement in NYS. The initial issue was 24 pages (full newspaper) with 50% being advertisements. It earned a nice profit from the initial month on. Became the official paper for NYS youth soccer. Left it to my partners to return to the mortgage industry. Great experience.
