Pacific ComTech is a Telecommunications Construction Contractor which provides a variety of services for Outside and Inside plant construction. We provide an array of services from installation, maintenance and repair to project management, engineering and consulting. • Managed two groups within the Construction department at Hawaiian Telcom. One group handles the Air pressure Network on the Island of Oahu and the other group takes care of the grooming for High Speed Data Services Lines.• Management of the Air Pressure Network on the island of Oahu• Management of 10 Air pressure technicians• Collect and approve employee payroll submissions on a daily basis• Daily dispatching and distribution of work schedules• In charge of all Oahu Hawaii One Call Center (HOCC) cable locating for Hawaiian Telcom• Standardizing and ordering of Air Pressure equipment• Thorough understanding in reading Air pressure blueprints• Work closely with engineering to optimize the performance of the dryers to reduce operating costs• Responsible for all budgetary concerns for the running of the Air pressure group• Annual employee appraisals• The second group I manage is the High Capacity splicing group—duties to include:• Management of 8 HICAP technicians• Collect and approve employee payroll submissions on a daily basis• Daily dispatching and distribution of work schedules• Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure that we meet deadlines for service installs• Grooming and line condition for a variety of high speed data services which include DSL, VDSL, DSO, ISDN, T1, HDSL 2, HDSL 4, and EOC (all the previous acronyms are the types of service lines we condition to meet our customer’s needs)• Responsible for all budgetary concerns for the running of the HICAP group• Keep abreast with the advent of new technologies that would enable the network to run more efficiently

• Responsibilities include installation, maintenance and minor design of outside plant cabling and intra-building feeder cabling. Duties included:• Interpreting service orders, cable diagrams, and electrical schematics• Installing, rearranging, and removing cables and associated wiring• Includes splicing and rearranging existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial and building work locations• Possesses In-depth knowledge of OSP engineering, construction and splicing of fiber optic networks• Isolate Faults on Copper or Fiber cables• Responsible for splicing copper and fiber optic cables and all associated terminal equipment• Proficient in a variety of testing equipment to include 3M 965 AMS, FED III, Sidekick analog meter, Tone Arc, Delcon 4904, and 3M 2273 cable locater• Skilled in 3M Ms2 Splicing Rig, AMP Splicing Rig, Scotch Lock splice connectors and Fujitsu Fiber Fusion Splicer• Prepare splice drawings• Operate and Interpret results of OTDR traces• Light Level and Power meter readings

• Primary responsibilities included the installation and maintenance of High and Low Voltage Electrical Power Systems. Duties included:• Installation, Maintenance and repair of Poles for Aerial High Voltage Construction• Air Field lighting maintenance• Installation, maintenance and repair of interior electrical construction• Interprets electrical blue prints• Electrical Lineman, Certified at Shepard Air force Base Texas

• Primary responsibilities included the installation of interior office wiring for LAN connectivity via Cat 5, Cat 6, Coax and Fiber Optic cables.
