Orchestrated expansion of operating divisions through mergers & acquisitions.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS✔ Business Consolidation: Sold PepsiCo Australian bottling operations to Cadbury Schweppes, which led to a consolidation of the beverage industry. ✔ Complex Negotiation: Successfully negotiated with Chinese authorities to increase equity stake in local bottling operations beyond the statutory 60% limit established at the time of entry into the PRC. ✔ Equity Stakes: Negotiated purchase of a 33% equity stake in Philippines bottler from Guoco Group. Purchased a 35% equity stake in PepsiCo bottler in the Lebanon, successfully rebutting an acquisition by Coke. ✔ Equity Buyout: Negotiated buyout of President's 50% equity stake in Pepsi's business in Taiwan.
