Full P&L responsibility for a privately owned home & garden plastics pottery manufacturing operation. The first 2 years involved grass roots turnaround manufacturing improvements with labor, machine efficiency and preventive maintenance programs on aged equipment. The second (and most recent) 2 years transformed the operation with all new injection mold machinery and automation. This facilitated 50% growth in the business in 2020 and nearly 2X growth in 2021. Fully developed the companies ocean series program on the manufacturing side that utilizes recycled marine/ocean plastic waste, curbside waste and post industrial waste. This plant did not have an external waste recycle program prior to my arrival in 2017 and it now processes several million pounds of recycled material into its ocean series finished goods.

Leadership is centered around lean/synchronous manufacturing systems. Specifically driving work place organization, standardized work, visual controls and disciplined project management systems to achieve successful execution of the organization's mission and business plan.

Director of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing, Engineering & Technical Services for 16 manufacturing facilities. Interim plant manager at 3 of the facilities. Manage 13 salaried manufacturing support staff.

Managing Director for all Canadian operations. The Canada region is comprised of 3 manufacturing plants in Toronto, ON and Moncton, New Brunswick. Total annual sales of $100 million with Coca Cola, Pepsi Bottling and Bacardi Liquor as the primary customers. • Member of the Board of Directors (Assistant Secretary) for Amcor PET Packaging Atlantic Inc. (APPAI). • Director of Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen for 26 ARPNA manufacturing plants. • Director of program/project management for ARPNA. • Manage 75 full time personnel in the Canada region.• Coordinated a full plant closure in Toronto (October, 2009).

Complete management responsibility for a $25 million startup operation. Implemented lean manufacturing initiatives and talent upgrades to turnaround operations and improve financial performance. Managed 50 full time personnel and up to 150 temporary staff.

Multi-plant profit & loss responsibility totaling $94.5 million annual sales in the plastic blow molding industry in City of Industry & Santa Ana, CA, Houston, TX, Memphis, TN and W Memphis, AK. 3 of the 5 plants were turnarounds. Managed 36 salaried and 300 hourly personnel.Guided plant leadership in decision making to increase profitability and reduce costs through the following lean manufacturing initiatives: • Behavioral Based Safety Programs, Operator Driven Quality, Production Fundamentals• Visual Factory, Production Metrics, Total Productive Maintenance• Continuous Improvement Activities, 5S (Sort, Straighten, Sweep, Standardize and Sustain)

Lead industrial engineer for the Cadillac North Star engine program. Experiences encompassed implementing the Toyota Production System and Lean/Synchronous Manufacturing strategies in the Detroit engine plant. Assignments included activities at NUMMI (New Untied Motor Manufacturing Inc. - a joint GM/Toyota production facility in Fremont, CA which is now the Tesla manufacturing facility), Georgetown, Kentucky and an assignment to develop a world wide V6 & V8 engine. This assignment included a short term deployment in Frankfurt, Germany as the DFM/DFA voice of manufacturing during the design of the new engine program.
