Managing a greenhouse with 125 NFT channels. Directing the activities of student workers to produce 280 heads of lettuce a week while collecting data on desired variables, performing analysis and reporting results. Responsible for the regular maintenance, accuracy of data and maintaining crop health.

Designed and installed 9 LED lighting units and control panel to evaluate the effect of different wavelengths and intensities of light on the growth of edible mushrooms grown in a greenhouse. Consulted with project leaders on the outcomes of the eight trials and the possible direction for further experiments.

Work closely with facilities managers, data scientists and teams of technicians to investigate and identify opportunities regarding plant growth as it relates to indoor crop production. Responsible for writing lesson plans, learning activities, and lab activities for five classes of 30+ students: Plant Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Mechanics and Applied Biological Sciences. In addition, helped manage the local FFA chapter, Animal Facilities, Greenhouse and Garden.
