Responsibilities include providing technical solutions to tax updates for all releases of PeopleSoft HCM ranging from 7.5 to 9.2 and PeopleTools 7.51 to 8.52. Worked as a senior member of a project team to provide tax updates for over 130 clients. Provided technical expertise and produced deliverables for tax updates involving online PeopleSoft objects such as records, pages, components, PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, Application Packages, SQR, and PeopleSoft North American Payroll COBOL programs. Assisted in resolving numerous client cases and served as a technical resource on client contact calls. Developed numerous productivity tools using VB .Net and C# .Net to aid in producing, packaging, and delivering tax updates to clients. Involved in Environments 2.0 initiative to ensure scalability of the systems development business model.

PeopleSoft HCM 8.9, PeopleTools 8.47 system. Responsible for production support and medium to large scale "bolt on" enhancements to PeopleSoft HCM system including Partner Loans subsystem, Partner Equity, Year End Settlement process, and Partnership Taxation. Most of the customization work was associated with converting legacy ancillary systems to PeopleSoft, and providing numerous self service pages for the firm's partners. Served as Technical Lead, Business Analyst, and Developer on various projects including Partnership Tax Releases, State Tax Withholding System, Partnership Taxation Self Service portal pages, and rewriting interfaces to general ledger, expense reimbursement, and partner timesheets for a new SAP Financials implementation.

Member of team developing the mainframe portion of a multi-tier client server Billing Inquiry and Adjustments system. A separate team in Dallas, Texas developed the Visual Basic/SQL Server portion of this system. Responsibilities include maintenance and enhancements to mainframe batch programs to extract tax and billing data, which was then transferred to the SQL Server platform. Also maintenance and enhancements to CICS programs called by the Visual Basic client application to retrieve mainframe customer data stored in DB2 tables. Attended several Visual Basic and SQL Server classes in preparation for assuming responsibility for support of the Visual Basic/ SQL Server portion of the system.

On assignment at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a member of a two person team responsible for conversion of HR data from legacy IMS and ADABAS systems to PeopleSoft HRMS 7.5 on a UNIX platform. Legacy data was extracted from IMS and ADABAS via COBOL programs and ADASQL, formatted and translated into Oracle load files, transferred to the UNIX machine, and then loaded into Oracle tables using SQR programs. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data maps, developing and maintaining COBOL and SQR conversion programs, assisting with data validation, and running mock conversions as well as the final live conversion, which involved all HR tables including Job and extensive Job History. Also was heavily involved in the design, development, and implementation of Reconciliation SQR programs to reconcile converted Peoplesoft data to Legacy data.

On assignment at GTE Data Services as a member of a team responsible for the implementation and support of a enterprise order entry and service fulfillment system. Responsibilities include support and enhancements of online IMS DC / DB2 programs, performance tuning of DB2 SQL. Previous experience on the interfacing billing system enabled me to assist coworkers on matters involving database design, access, and business functionality.

Lead developer on project to organize product and customer data along international geographic boundaries. Responsible for design, coding, and implementation of numerous new DCS programs and the integration of new system features into the corporate DCS system. Project involved several new DB2 tables, online programs to maintain them, and report programs for exception reporting. The online processing involved synchronous, asynchronous and BCCP processing.

Served as Technical Lead on a development team responsible for the Service Order subsystem of a large customer billing system. The Service Order portion of the billing system consists of over 200 DB2 tables, 200 COBOL II batch programs, and 50 COBOL II CICS on-line programs. Responsibilities included gathering requirements, system design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of system enhancements. Assisted teammates with DB2 DBA functions such as DB2 table loads, unloads and DDL. Authored several productivity tools such as a production data download facility to selectively extract customer data from the production DB2 environment, transmit it to another data center, and load into a test DB2 system. Served as a technical consultant to colleagues on matters involving DB2, SQL, JCL, COBOL, CLIST, and ISPF Dialog Manager.Lead technician on project to interface a new customer order entry system to an existing customer billing system. Responsible for all phases of development from requirements gathering, through design, coding, testing, implementation and support. The system involved COBOL 2 programs, DB2 databases in multiple DB2 regions, distributed DB2 data access, and IMS/DC (BMP).

IMS DBA for corporate systems developed in IMS DB/DC. Responsible for maintenance of IMS databases including backup, recovery, and database reorganization. Served as an advisor to application programmers and reviewed programs and JCL for efficiency and conformance to company standards. Assisted in the implementation of IMS system enhancements such as DBRC and batch DASD logging. Developed and implemented a utility application running under IMS DC and using DB2 tables to provide on-line help at the screen level for IMS DC applications. Developed and implemented procedures for the migration of IMS and DB2 system modules from development systems to production systems across data centers; Developed numerous diagnostic and procedural tools for IMS and DB2 using COBOL, CLIST, and ISPF Dialog Manager. Served as backup for support of DB2 and ADABAS systems. Primary support for a tables management system (TDMS) involving IMS databases, BDAM master files, and numerous COBOL programs both vendor supplied and in-house developed.

for corporate Payroll system. Supported large scale in-house developed payroll system written in COBOL and MARKIV, involving over 200 COBOL programs, 75 MARKIV programs, and 100 job streams. The system served over 35,000 active employees. Responsible for daily maintenance as well as system enhancements and partial rewrites. Installed the ALLTAX2 product and developed procedures to facilitate periodic product maintenance. Served as leadprogrammer on such projects as the hourly payroll system rewrite and the federal 401K plan implementation.

for Personnel Processing System. Supported in-house developed IMS DB/DC system with 75 COBOL on-line programs and 100 COBOL and MARKIV batch programs. Responsible for daily maintenance as well as partial rewrites and enhancements. Wrote numerous new on-line and batch COBOL/IMS programs to provide for such functions as direct deposit of net pay, year end database archival, vacation and disability banks reinitialization, and numerous on-line inquiry/update functions for personnel data bases.
