Remotely Piloted Aircraft Sensor Operator Career Field Functional Manager (CFFM) at the Air National Guard Readiness Center. Responsible for the managing the 1U career field for the Air National Guard. Also response for the manpower, equipment, management, and readiness of 12 remotely piloted aircraft squadrons.I have in excess of 2500 combat flying hours as an MQ-1 Predator sensor operator, and over 150 hours in the MQ-9 Reaper. I completed formal instructor upgrade training in 2012. I have experience in combat operations in Iraq, and Afghanistan. Chosen as the 163 Reconnaissance Squadron (RS) Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) of the year for 2013; the 196 Reconnaissance Squadron (RS) outstanding sensor operator of the first quarter 2011; the 196 RS outstanding SNCO of the year for 2012 and 2013. Appointed as Flight Chief responsible for the leadership and combat readiness of remotely piloted aircraft sensor operators. Appointed as the non-commissioned officer in charge of the 196RS Weapons and Tactics shop for three years. As the Weapons and Tactics NCOIC I was responsible for ensuring the squadron was prepared for intelligence operations and kinetic strike, with training in the most current tactics, techniques, and procedures, available in the combat Air Force. I was responsible for evaluating the combat effectiveness of the squadron sensor operators, and for developing ways to improve performance through academics and hands-on instruction. I have written several articles that were published in the 196th Attack Squadron newsletter.

Responsible for leading teams during major narcotics investigations, mostly involving internationally significant drug cartels along the southwest border of the United States. Field duties included physical and electronic surveillance, search warrant writing and planning, high risk raids, complex undercover and intelligence operations. I have authored more than 50 state and federal wiretap affidavits, and over 300 search warrant affidavits. I am a recognized expert in international narcotics smuggling in both state and federal court. As a California Department of Justice Special Agent, I was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), southwest border initiative, as a Task Force Agent (TFA), for approximately 7 years. While assigned to the DEA I was a team leader responsible for cases involving international drug smuggling operations. I lead complex investigations, involving multiple state, and federal, law enforcement agencies in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Japan, and Israel. I represented the DEA, and the Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement, at case coordination meetings with Mexican law enforcement, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the Israeli liaison to the United States, and United States special agents assigned to various countries. I developed links to high-value targets of the United States government, and worked with the DEA's Special Operations Division (SOD) to confirm links to priority targets, and to secure funding for investigations.
