I've been performing weekly every Friday night for the past ten years. :)

I am a published fiction writer and award-winning storyteller. I participate regularly in The Moth storytelling events in Philadelphia as well as other storytelling events in Philly and New York. I’m an active member of the Kelly Writers Group and am at work on my first novel.

I am a versatile accompanist and performer. I’ve music-directed cabarets with Broadway performers in New York and hosted a monthly cabaret series at a nightclub in Philly. Piano has also landed me in jazz quartets, musicals, Catholic masses, Baptist churches, supper clubs, nightclubs - you name it.

As a key member of both the LXD team and the internal organizational effectiveness team, I maintain a diverse set of responsibilities. Courses I’ve worked on include manager soft skills training, client engagement training for employees of international resettlement initiatives, and medical training for international aid organizations focused on the treatment of COVID-19, as well as courses on computer vision, AI, in-house legal operations, and the proper handling of classified information, among others. Design work with clients is high-touch and involves consultative skills and playing a leading role in custom workshops rooted in design thinking principles. Our projects at SweetRush are complex, highly stylized, rich learning experiences created in multiple modalities (eLearning, ILT, vILT, blended solutions, videos, podcasts, games, apps, job aids, etc.) that require extensive collaboration and communication among LXDs, creative directors, visual artists and designers, developers, and project managers. I played major roles in the design and development of learning programs that have won multiple industry awards, including several gold awards from the Brandon Hall Group. On the internal SweetRush organizational effectiveness team, I’m an innovation specialist working with a small “incubator” team to create new ways of working, develop learning materials using new authoring tools and designs, and design internal processes for company-wide implementation of new tools and procedures. I also partner with the director of our team to set departmental strategy, assist in unifying and streamlining work efforts to maximize effectiveness, and design internal training based on company data. I worked as an instructional designer developing eLearning courses for the food manufacturing and retail industries. I was involved in every stage of course production, from content analysis, working with SMEs, and storyboarding to building courses in Articulate Storyline and implementing Spanish language translations. I taught in the First Year Writing Program and the university’s ESL school. I developed a course for international students and oversaw up to 16 instructors during the terms it ran. I also designed the syllabus and taught in Drexel’s Fulbright Pre-academic Program, which provided instruction to international Fulbright fellows in graduate-level academic writing and presenting skills.

I designed and taught advanced reading and writing classes, focusing predominantly on personal narratives.
