I was recruited to help overhaul Workday training during implementation. Since then, I have redesigned the team toolset, processes and direction on a number of key programs. I helped launch the Leadership Development program using CorpU, and several SharePoint training sites. I am currently leading the design and development of several Connect Learning Communities on our Cornerstone LMS using my instructional design and HTML skills.Besides bring my Instructional Design knowledge and skills to NCR, I have had an opportunity to refresh my video production experience for both communications / marketing and training, to overwhelming positive feedback and measurable success.

I was brought in to manage the large-scale, complex curriculum for the flagship treasury product - SunView. By leading a team of developers and contractors, and managing a large and varied group of subject matter experts, I successfully delivered a comprehensive training program for both internal and external clients.For internal clients, I delivered a six-part web-based overview (WBT), 95 targeted system how-to vignettes, a two-day instructor-led Sales training class, product communication plans, technical support webinars, and multiple job aids.For external clients, I delivered a similar 95 targeted system how-to vignette package, multiple implementation webinars, and many job aids.I also served as the webmaster for Treasury and Product Solutions, successfully developing and launching the new Treasury Intranet site using SharePoint for both page content and document management.Due to my efforts and accomplishments, I was awarded the Q3 Individual Top Performer Award.

My position changed significantly during my time at McKesson. Due to my contractor history with this company through HealthStream (2008-2010), I was offered and accepted a position as a technical course developer primarily using Word and Excel for analysis and design and Captivate for development of web-based training courses focusing on product improvements and upgrades.During my last year with the company, I ran instructor-led training course development projects for the McKesson Provider Technologies delivery team. I analyzed and evaluated proposed and current product changes for the design and/or revision of curricula to meet external customer needs. I also designed and developed transitional bridge documents for customers familiar with existing products but needing targeted upgrade training.In addition to my Instructional Design and Project Management responsibilities, I became a Certified SharePoint Administrator, supporting my division's SharePoint sites and content.I used Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat Pro and Photoshop daily and Camtasia, Captivate and SoundForce regularly, in addition to proprietary medical applications and SharePoint.

I was responsible for the evaluation of existing training materials for delivery efficiencies and quality improvement. In addition, I helped create the computer-based training delivery shell and designed and developed numerous new-product general familiarization mini-courses for internal and external clientele.I worked both independently and as part of a team of designers and instructors nationwide. I used Captivate, Photoshop, Sound Force, Articulate, and Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis.

I primarily focused on the conversion of classroom-based training (ILT) content to web-based training (WBT) and blended solutions. I successfully used project management, vendor management, and learning analysis, design and development skills daily as part of my responsibilities in the creation of application simulation for delivery in a third-party Flash environment.In addition, I was responsible for technical writing, scripting, story-boarding and simulation capturing for computer applications and systems training.On a daily basis I used Captivate and the Microsoft Office Suite.

As a Senior Instructional Designer, I worked as part of team creating and revising classroom and computer-based curricula. I lead a small team on the evaluation and selection of the courseware developer tool set, settling on Lectora and Captivate depending on the deliverable. My primary focus was the analysis of regulatory compliance changes and the design and development of enterprisewide, recurrent deliverables to meet the letter and intent of those changes.

Research, analysis, design, development and evaluation of courseware for pilots and flight attendants. Focus on systems and hands-on skills training and compliance education. Completed development and implementation of several new development projects for both groups using blended training solutions (WBT and ILT).During my 15 years with Delta, I held positions of increasing responsibility from Avionics Technician, to Safety Representative, to Compliance Coordinator, and finally Instructional Designer for 6 years.
