I began my journey in financial services in 1997 as an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) with Royal Skandia, now Old Mutual International. My career has afforded me the opportunity to live, work, and study in diverse locations, including the UK (2001-2005) and Brazil (2014).I hold a degree in Economics from the University of Uruguay and a master’s degree in Derivatives and Private Client Administration, with a specialization in Financial Market Analysis, from the Securities & Investment Institute of London.After a transformative period in the Isle of Man from 2001 to 2005, I returned to Uruguay to join Aiva, a member of the Old Mutual Group. There, I focused on legal matters and sales strategy enhancement, emphasizing internal efficiency through lean process principles.With nearly 27 years of experience in the offshore financial industry, I have developed deep expertise in both local and offshore markets, with a focus on legal, sales, and operational strategies.Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about sports and language learning. A native speaker of Spanish and English, I am also fluent in Portuguese and am currently expanding my linguistic skills by learning French.Today, I am privileged to lead New Market Development at Dominion Capital Strategies.
