Integrating sustainability initiatives into the operations of commercial, industrial, governmental, and non-profit institutions for more than 25 years. • Have played a key role in the transition of the former Fort Devens military base and Priority Superfund Site in Massachusetts into an internationally recognized eco-industrial park since 2004.• Contributed to the development and implementation of one of the country’s first voluntary corporate stewardship recognition programs. • Founded the non-profit Devens Eco-Efficiency Center to provide education, technical assistance and partnership opportunities that help firms achieve economic and ecological efficiencies. • Started The Great Exchange to divert reusable waste streams from manufacturing facilities and has grown this innovative program to facilitate the reuse of more than 850 types of idle operational supplies, educational and creative materials, furniture, and fixtures among hundreds of schools, libraries, nonprofits, municipal departments, and small businesses. • Established the EHS Roundtable to provide a forum where professionals with environmental, health and safety responsibilities can network, mentor, collaborate, and pursue learning opportunities. • Spearheaded the establishment of a unique regional household hazardous waste collection center in Devens that now serves as a model for the State because of its collection and cost effectiveness.
