Represented Imperial Oil in supervising workovers and completions on In-situ and SAGD wells in the Cold Lake operation. Worked with multiple contractors to ensure projects were completed safely, efficiently and to the client’s expectations.• Planning: Scouted sites, reviewed well servicing programs and requirements, and partnered with Service Rig Manager to plan jobs. Ordered, scheduled and coordinated third party services, fluid deliveries, downhole tools, support equipment, tanks and materials. Coordinated access and space requirements on multi-well pads.• Field Supervision: Oversaw multiple contractors (up to 30 personnel), including service rigs, tongs, cementers, wireline, fluid hauling, corod rigs, well kill operations, diesel/acid stimulation, N2 purge and flushby services. Ensured well servicing operations were executed in accordance with IOL programs and standards. Controlled costs, requested additional budget approvals, and provided daily reporting to head office, using WellView.• Safety: Promoted a safety culture and ensured compliance with client safety policies and procedures. Led daily safety meetings, weekly blowout prevention drills and emergency response drills. Completed hazard assessments, JSAs, loss prevention observations and near miss reporting.• Technical Reviews: Participated in technical reviews with Subsurface Engineer and Operational Lead to discuss strategies to maintain safety and good well control for problem wells, such as well kills, casing repairs & fishing.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS· Successfully serviced 200+ wells in the Cold Lake operation with no lost-time or environmental incidents. · Finished more than 80% of projects on budget and on schedule.· Contributed to numerous process improvements that improved safety, efficiency, costs & risk exposure.
