Technologies focused on webcasting, video conferencing, audio conferencing, web conferencing, video hosting & streaming, web based surveys, bulk/targeted email, campus based plasma screen broadcasts, translation services, and audience response solutions.

Global Health Fellows - Partnered with the business to develop custom IT solutions and support capabilities for a unique team of colleagues deployed to developing nations for an extended duration. Pre-existing challenges included inconsistent to non-existent IT capabilities and support, uncontrollable and skyrocketing cell phone costs, escalating complaints, dissatisfaction, frustration, and poor survey results from Fellows.

Datacenter closure project with an objective to relocate ~5800 servers and core infrastructure devices from NJ to MA within a 15 month timeframe. Led a team of 63 people across multiple work-streams managing the 891 pharmaceutical server environment.

Pfizer’s Internet hosting environment (DMZ) had limited flexibility in the available technology suite. Business units and application owners were limited to Apache and Oracle on Unix. Created a business case to acquire $400K in seed money and contracted for datacenter and support services. Partnered with multiple marketing teams to launch a shared platform environment supporting multiple technologies including, ASP, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MS SQL, MySQL, Java, and BEA Weblogics.

Kampala, Uganda

Pfizer embarked on a $35M philanthropic initiative in partnership with the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Accordia to build the IDI http://www.idi-makerere.com. Its 3-part mission is to train healthcare workers from across the sub-Saharan African continent, provide outreach, treatment, and care for those infected with HIV/AIDS, and perform clinical research. Volunteer my time and expertise to design the IT infrastructure for the IDI. Convinced many vendors that Pfizer purchases goods and services from to make donations totaling more than $18M.
