I build and facilitate links between The Strong National Museum of Play (a 501(c)(3) non-profit) and the games industry. I also advise the historians and curators at the Women in Games Archive and Exhibit, the World Video Game Hall of Fame and the International Center for the History of Electronic Games (all of which are part of The Strong Museum) as they carry out the critical mission of preserving the history of our industry and presenting its story in physical and online exhibits. ICHEG includes game libraries, functional vintage consoles and coin-op machines, historical artifacts and the working papers of key game designers and entire game development studios. In addition to its museum exhibits, The Strong maintains the Brian Sutton-Smith Library and Archives of Play, where scholars can conduct research and study its historical documents. The Strong preserves major sub-collections as diverse as a 7,000 game archive of Japanese language video games and the complete corporate archives of Atari's coin-op division. Prominent games industry figures whose papers and artifacts have been donated and are preserved here include Ralph Baer, Bill Budge, Dani Bunten, Don Daglow, Brian Fargo, Jerry Lawson, Jordan Mechner, Guy Welch, Ken Williams, Roberta Williams and Will Wright.
