With a strong financial foundation I was put my time where my passion laid as I:• Strategically planned engaging activities of weekly junior high and senior high drop-in nights of 50+ people - Mentored at-risk youth directly - Recruiting and retaining a willing enthusiastic staff of 20 volunteer workers - Developed and delivered monthly training and support for entire volunteer base- Led student teams to serve in global community with short-term missions trips to Puerto Rico and to volunteer with agencies that provide food, shelter and support to the inner-city of Winnipeg.In 2011 The Bunker began a transitional move to a larger location in Winkler. Through my leadership we were able to retain our attendance numbers and volunteer engagement even as we operated out of a transition space which lacked many of our furnishings and entertainment resources.
