Presently working in Marne teaching English online for different training organisations; teaching / training professionals from across the private and public sector and providing private lessons. This consists of online lessons, face to face lessons, telephone lessons / conversations and preparation for TOEIC and IELTS tests.Developing new and innovative ways to teach / train individuals who want to learn or improve their English.

I was privileged to accept an invitation to become a Fellow of The Centre for Welfare Reform and have contributed various publications to help in the move towards a world where social justice and true citizenship is available for all.

Chief Executive and co-founder of self direct; a social enterprise dedicated to promoting changes in the social and health market-place so that people that need support are in control of their support, their lives and live life in a way that makes sense to them. Self direct worked in partnership with other like minded organisations and individuals to find new, imaginative and innovative ways to bring about the changes needed in the social and health market-place. Self direct believed that any changes should be driven by people who have personal experience of how services affect lives and many of self direct's associates have this experience.After 5 years of self direct trailing the blaze, many other organisations took up the challenge of delivering training in this area across the UK.

Developed a Corporate Planning Strategy for Mencap, working with the Corporate Planning Manager, the Directors and the Chief Executive.Worked with a senior management team from the different Business Units at Mencap to develop Self-Directed Support strategy and projects across England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Worked with the in Control core team of directors to help to develop and support the work of special projects. One of the founding members of in Control in England and in Wales. In Wales this developed into the Wales Alliance for Citizen Directed Support.
