I chose to go with Anchor because they were a pioneer in fixed annuities, which were very popular with the public and NYSE Stock Exchange Member Firms. They asked me to head up a totally new Division which would focus on all the major NYSE Brokerage firms, who offered their annuities. The position required extensive travel throughout the entire USA where I called on the National Marketing Directors and spoke at those company annual conventions. We placed over a Billion dollars of Single Premium fixed annuites in my six years with Anchor.

I joined Dean Witter Securities originally and shortly after my joining the firm merged with Reynolds Securities, Inc. My original responsibilities were to cover all the Branch offices in the States east of the Missippi. I was promoted to the National Director of Insurance Sales a year prior to the Reynolds merger, which forced my relocation to the newly build World Trade Center in lower Manhattan, NYC. We were one of the first national securities firms to offer insurance products through its 1,000 NYSE Registered Representatives.
