Provide leadership for the successful the implementation of the Grid Visibility & Control (GV&C) Program. The objective of the GV&C program is to improve visibility and control of devices on the electrical distribution system. The GV&C Program consist of three major projects as follows:1. Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) - Schneider ElectricADMS will provide an integrated operating and decision software and hardware support system to assist control room, field personnel, and engineers with the monitoring, control and optimization of the electric distribution system. It will manage the complex interaction of distributed energy resources, outage events, feeder switching operations and advanced applications such as FLISR and IVVO. 2. Integrated Volt Var Optimization (IVVO). IVVO automates and optimizes the operation of the distribution voltage regulating devices and VAr control devices. The IVVO application will allow voltage to be monitored along the entire length of the feeder and at selected end points. This insight into the voltage levels will allow Xcel Energy the ability to utilize lower voltages across the entire feeder at most times. This will result in reduction in distribution electrical losses; reduction in electrical demand; reduction in energy consumption; and increased capacity to host DER. 3. Fault Location Isolation and Service (FLISR) and Fault Location.The Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) application will enable Xcel Energy to reduce the number of sustained customer interruptions, and improve key reliability metrics. FLISR creates a switching plan for re-energizing portions of a distribution circuit that have been de-energized as a result of a permanent feeder fault. The Fault Location Prediction (FLP) is a subset of FLISR that leverages sensor data from field devices to more quickly locate a faulted section of a feeder line and reduce patrol times needed to physically locate the fault.

Developed project management plan with detailed MS Project schedule, budget, risk management, communication plan, roles and responsibilities, and scope management plan. • Developed a product implementation methodology for Visonex’s dialysis electronic medical records system and billing interface. Led implementation of Visonex’s Clarity software suite for a $2 billion hospital.• Led Lotus Notes to Office 365 Migration and Office 2016 implementation project for international manufacturer with 9,500 employees.• Led team to plan and develop interfaces for Bellin hospital’s new electronic medical records system EPIC. • Led custom development of a Customer Notification system for Integrys’ energy demand management programs which eliminated ten disparate systems.• Led the upgrade of Call Center’s Labor Management system to deliver new tracking functionality and more effectively manage resource workloads.• Led multiple projects to implement TFS and other custom applications to improve application development processes.• Led relocation of Chicago utility (Peoples Gas and Electric) corporate office from the Chicago Prudential building to the AON building. Relocated company’s Disaster Recovery data center to a new data center 200 miles away. Coordinated work with infrastructure teams including desktop, server, network, storage, Dev Ops and operations. • Upgraded communications equipment for public utility substations (107) replacing leased lines with cellular technology resulting in a payback of less than 9 months.

Responsible for providing project management services at Integrys Energy Group.• Managed the development of a custom application for the enterprise to track commitments, non-conformance and corrective actions to improve their regulatory compliance.• Led environmental performance improvement program to ensure compliance with the power generating facility’s water and air permits.

ShopKo Stores, Inc., Green Bay, Wisconsin A leading retailer with 351 ShopKo and Pamida stores, more than 26,000 employees and with annual revenues in excess of $3.2 billion. Acquired by Sun Capital Partners, Inc. in 2005 Reporting to the Senior Vice President Information Services/Chief Information Officer. Responsible for implementing an enterprise resource planning system and leading integration teams for two acquisitions. Directed multiple project teams of over 100 IT professionals and a budget in excess of $32 million.• Directed company through major process and system changes to implement Retek, a $25 million inventory and supply chain management system to improve sales, gross margin and reduce expenses. Integrated Retek with other applications: Distribution, Data Warehouse, Store Systems, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Merchandise Space and Financial Planning, EDI and Advertising.• Chosen as a member of the business integration team to lead two retail store acquisitions (149 Pamida and 23 Penn Daniel’s Jacks stores). Researched alternatives, costs and benefits to consolidate administrative and operational functions to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies.
