This is achieved through the development and implementation of our Communications Strategy with a strong focus on Digital Media. Some of my responsibilities include;Providing support to the Union Executive Officers to best communicate the work there do on behalf of our members. Providing communication support to the Institute’s 60 Clubs and Societies. This includes providing training to individual Clubs and Societies on how to utilize Students Union communication channels and how to develop their own platforms. Advancement and execution of our Digital Media Strategy and management of all content in the Students’ Union digital space including our website, ezine (Newsweaver), Facebook Page, Twitter Feed and YouTube Channel. Work to achieve quantifiable targets as set down in the strategy. Work closely with our creative agencies to develop effective communications with the student demographic.Production of all Students’ Union publications including Éist Student Handbook, The Wire Student Newsletter and all other publication as they arise.Communicate Union activities to local stakeholders of the Students’ Union via press releases, community newsletter and stakeholder meeting.Coordinate qualitative and quantitative research as required to assess student awareness of and experience with the Students’ Union services, facilities and communications.
