Drseden Digital Equity, Inc. is a Maine nonprofit organization formed to promote access to broadband internet for the residents of the Town of Dresden (Maine). DDE is established to support those who cannot or might not otherwise be able to afford that access and, in so doing, provide relief to the poor (13.7%), the distressed (10.6%), or the underprivileged through the Town of Dresden, Maine - irrespective of race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, or economic status, or religion. We secured a grant covering the entire cost of upgrading the telecommunications infrastructure to fiber optics, enabling the Town to move into the 21st century! -
