Donella Pearson graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and also an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Technology in 2005. Immediately after graduation she accepted a job at Boeing in Seattle, Washington as a Manufacturing Engineer on the Airborne Warning Early and Control Program (AEW&C). After starting her career with the company; Donella went to grad school to earn a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology. Over the course of time Donella has also worked as a Systems Engineer on the B2 Bomber & Conventional/Air-Launched Cruise Missile (C/ALCM) Programs; a Manufacturing Engineer on the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Program and on the 787 Program as a Systems Engineer on the Airplane Level Integration Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management team and Product Data Management Engineer for Boeing Fabrication Production Engineering working with Manufacturing Business Units on cost savings projects using the Product Cost Improvement Processes and currently a Systems Engineer at the company. In the Fall of 2012, Donella earned a Project Management Certificate from Stevens Institute of Technology. Her community service activities have included tutoring students as part of the National Society of Black Engineers Seattle Alumni Pre-College Initiative Program; helping at the Emergency Feeding Program of Seattle and King County, volunteering with Young Women's Christian Association and being an active member of the non-profit organization Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
