This includes: prospecting, account planning and development, management of entire sales cycle, coordinating technical resources/consultants and technical proof of concepts, creation of proposals, negotiation and closing business. • Post-sales account management. • Development of targeted Marketing Mailings, Extensive Written Correspondence and Customer Presentations.• Skilled in discussions with business and IT professionals in positioning technology products and solutions for Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (OLAP, EIS, Q&R over Web, Thin Client, Client/Server environments), Applied Analytics/Data Mining and Decision Support Solutions targeting specific business processes in Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Balanced Scorecard Implementations. • Relationship development with local business partners and consultants. • Started SAS office in Cleveland in 1995.Systems Engineer responsible for all pre-sales and post-sales technical support activities related to sales opportunities for the Northeast Ohio Region. Specifically: • Primary contact for all technical/non-technical software issues related to closing sales opportunities and identifying new opportunities in existing accounts. • Provide Proof-of-Concept to customers via technical software demonstrations, technical consulting, custom prototypes, presentations and seminars. • Responsible for local marketing activities such as customer strategy planning, product positioning activities, seminar planning and presentation, and local marketing campaigns.
