I joined the Investors Group Hamilton office in 1985 at the age of 22. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McMaster University and since then I have continued my career related education, currently holding the designations of Certified Financial Planner professional, Elders Planning Counsellor, and Chartered Life Underwriter. For the past 12 years, I have hosted a radio show with Andy Lyster. You can listen to or “join” Andy and I every Saturday morning from 7:00-8:00 am on AM900 CHML. Each week we offer financial planning advice and answer your questions. Email us your question and you can be part of the show!Outside of work, I have been a sponsor, a rider and helped build bicycles for less fortunate Hamilton kids with Bike for Mike for the past 3 years. Also, the past 2 years my team and I have help raise funds and sponsor The Burlington Food Bank. I have been a fundraiser and a rider for Tour for Kids from 2004 -2010; this is to raise money to allow kids with cancer the opportunity to attend summer camp. In September 2010, I rode across Canada with Coast to Coast National Kids Cancer ride, to further raise money for the fight against childhood cancer.
