▪After I served as a faculty member in MMET at OIT (Oregon Tech) where I have grown up as an educator and dedicated my enthusiasm to promote robotics-related course development including most summers volunteered or advised projects/student competitions, I started a new exploration at UOP from fall 22 with wonderful people who really care for each other and their development. I'll contribute to create cross-disciplined, multidisciplinary environments (experiential learning & research), prepare for future change to come up w/advanced, integrated curricula & activities for students & my careers. It's exciting while challenging but I dare say it is worth exploring and I would like to commit to make it! My duties included at VU:• Projects: Autonomous systems/ autonomous systems research & education, sponsored by Office of Naval Research (ONR), 2009-2012 (FY-07/08, FY-09~11) as a post-doctor research fellow,• As the PI of "Unmanned Vehicle Demonstrators", built and tested autonomous robotic boat prototypes using onboard real-time embedded computer systems, developed algorithms; MATLAB/Simulink embedded SW on Speedgoat platform w/navigation sensors, prop & steering control, Hokuyo Lidar, image and vision sensing on TI board and two cameras (or a Logitech webcam), and developed GPS waypoint trajectory, finite state machine system. ME Dept & CENDAC (center 4 nonlinear dynamics and control), 2009-2012,• I took in charge of a couple of research and projects and another research is for electro-mechanical systems sponsored by NSWC under the guidance of Dr. Nataraj and Dr. Ashrafiuon while helping a few research of Ph.D. students.
