Lieutentant Colonel Gertz was assigned to the D-1 (Personnel and Administration) section of the Maryland Defense Force and was the program manager of the Maryland Tax Subtraction Program for units of the Maryland Defense Force.Most recently, LTC Gertz served as the MDDF Administration Officer having responsibilities over the MDDF awards and decoration.
