Furthermore, his major engagement includes the Director of LG Brussels office where he successfully made alliance with Philips top management. As result, LGE and Philips become the strategic partners creating the JVs such as LG Philips LCD and LG Philips Displays.Returning from Brussels, Donghee Kim has executed very strategic projects such as cross licensing with Qualcomm, Joint Venture project with Xerox.As the importance Tele-Communication grow,LGE has asked Donghee to move to LG Tele-Communications. As the importance Handset business became the lucrative and fast growing business in LG, Donghee was given the responsibility of the creation of GSM mobile phone business unit. Donghee’s contribution of the creating GSM mobile phone business unit has helped in placing LGE as top Global number #3 player in the Global Mobile phone business.
