My dream is to create software to help people accomplish something useful and meaningful. After working for Microsoft for over 10 years, I decided to strike out on my own and founded Smtfon.com to create productive and socially responsible mobile software. In the process of developing my mobile software business, I came to know a couple friends with the same passion to leverage technology to enable people to do something meaningful. In September of 2012, I teamed up with other friends to form AssistX Education where I lead the engineering of our first product, ClassPolicy, a next generation classroom management product, which was released in the Spring of 2013 and currently being used by many schools across United States.Previously I was a senior lead software engineer at Microsoft's Windows Phone division, managing a team of 6 developers working on the entire end to end device update solution. I have over 20 years of broad software industry experiences on mobile devices, embedded software, PC applications, PC device drivers, web and server projects. I have been using various technologies and programming languages throughout my career. Recently I used Ruby on Rails, objective-C, and Java for WorryBottle project. Prolog for my master thesis, x86 assembly for low level driver. PHP, C#, and Silverlight for web service and Windows Phone app development.
