About Donghyun Ryu

I am a senior student at University of Wisconsin - Madison graduating in December 2020 and majoring in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. Studies in both Computer Engineering and Science allowed me to build a strong foundation in understanding the aspects and the relationships of both software and hardware in software development environment. In addition to that, a solid mathematical background helped me understand Computer Science in a theoretical level in studies that require advanced mathematics knowledge. Not only was I able to manage three different majors but also maintain strong academic performance with 3.90 major GPA, academic scholarship and multiple Dean's Honor List.I have always driven to be fast-learning and self-teaching throughout my academic years. I was able to dedicate any free time during the military service to studying new front and backend development skills, which resulted in starting a start-up company immediately followed by the military service. I learned technical skills such as architecting and developing software applications from scratch as well as business skills including forming a team, communicating with Venture Capitals and managing a company.I love to learn, and good learning opportunity is the top priority consideration that I seek from a job.
