I was part of a multi-disciplinary team providing both individual and group counseling sessions. Utilizing interactive and cooperative learning methods, along with lectures, I educated residents on a range of subjects pertaining to addiction and recovery.Conducted workshops with staff and other related agencies, on the newest approaches to addiction/mental health treatment and intervention.

I have experience teaching every grade level in the Ontario public school system as well as in a local community college. My career included two full years of teaching in Toronto, followed by a period where I served as a substitute teacher until 1996. During this time, I also dedicated myself to roles as an Addiction Counsellor and Youth Worker in North Bay, Ontario.

I acquired a store that was facing financial challenges at the time. Through strategies like direct mail, innovative window display advertising, and focusing on higher-profit products, I successfully boosted the store's profits by 200% within a year. Subsequently, I sold the store for double the purchase price the following year. The store remained profitable for several years until the establishment of a competing franchise convenience store nearby.
