Don is an experienced attorney devoted primarily to business litigation and professional licensing matters. He has obtained verdicts and judgments for clients through both trial and motion practice. Don represents clients in state and federal court, and also appears before administrative and appellate courts. He currently serves as counsel for one of the largest secondary lenders (now a liquidating trust) on cases involving RMBS contractual indemnity. Don has also represented numerous mortgage servicing companies in defending regulatory claims, including allegations involving Truth In Lending Act claims, Fair Credit Reporting Act claims, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims. He also has represented many financial institutions in Trust Instruction Proceeding (TIP) actions in MN. He also frequently assists professionals (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapist, real estate agents and security agents) in board licensing investigations and other inquiries, including matters before the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings.
