This involved creating a full inventory of installed software on all company servers and client computers. Verified all software is in license compliance with vendors licensing agreements. Removed all unneeded software from client computers, which realized a cost avoidance of 2.3 Million. In addition, create a vehicle for tracking software licensing for maintaining compliance using SQL Server, which received feeds from helpdesk request and weekly employee change reports.
