I developed pro-cesses, assembled an experienced tradeshow logistics team, along with procedures in a fast pace and very demanding environment. I reported to the Chief Operating Office and the President/CEO of EEI Global/Mobile. The executive team had full confidence in my ability to build a foundation and fix internal communication and multiple costly logistics failures. It was a requirement to achieve operational excellence in a short period of time that would outlast the position to improve and sustain EEI’s domestic and global presence within the tradeshow industry. I on-boarded, implemented and managed tier 1 tradeshow driven carriers, on-boarded, implemented and managed tier 1 airfreight forwarding pro-viders with a concentration in trade show freight, designed, implemented, managed all domestic and international ship-ping processes and fostered procedures that sustained shipping errors and missed events. Global Trade Shows, I worked directly with foreign country customs to ensure all registered commodities were documented, to ensure no issues occurred when dealing with domestic and international tariff procedures. My staff was the direct contact for EEI’s clients for inbound/outbound domestic and international freight that was organized by the client. My staff worked closely with the union warehouse foreman and bridged the communication gap between the union and salaried executive staff within EEI Global/EEI Mobile. General ManagerStreamlite Inc. Apr 2007 - Oct 20122010 and 2011 Presidents Club Winner I served as the Operations Manager over the Livonia Michigan facility. I managed a staff of over (40) exempt and non exempt and contract employees. My management staff consisted of two (2) Operations Supervisor and four (4) Lead Operations support personnel. My duties included managing and directing a parcel sorting distribution center that processed over approximately 25,000 parcel pieces per day. My duties also included overseeing a mail distribution network nationwide. I was responsible for and have achieved productivity measurements of higher than three hundred (300) pieces per hour. The Livonia Michigan operation was the top tier and achieved the Presidents Club Award for 2010 and 2011 which is the highest honor in Productivity, Efficiency, Quality, Reliability and Safety in the country. I was also the Operations Impact Team Leader that reported directly to the East Region VP of Operations. My duties included implementing 5(s) in multiple operations to ensure the highest of productivity. I also managed a transportation network that consisted of over fifty (20) dedicated truckload routes to the USPS and from our origin facilities across the country. I was responsible for negotiating contracts with 3rd party transportation vendors that generated a savings of over $50,000 annually. I was the point of contact for the east regions origin location customers to ensure the maximum interaction of customer service. I was responsible for developing corporate wide structured training programs to improve skills and productivity in essential job functions for front line employees; validated internal procedures (SOP) to standardize operational procedures corporate wide.
