We formed this foundaton after the death of my 17 year old son, Taylor.In this position, I have spoken to hundreds of thousands young people around the country in addition to doctors, law enforcement, coaches, parents and others. Many other national and international print media organizations have covered our efforts.For my work in this field, the Dallas Morning News named me their annual Sports Personality of the Year for the State of Texas, the Dallas Observer named me the 15th Most Powerful Sports Person in the Metroplex, the Institute for International Sports named me as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Sports Educators in America, and the United States Sports Academy presented me with the Distinguished Service Award.
