My multi-faceted role within Fulcrum is by-and-large to serve as the network engineer/architect and analyst consultant on technical and network-related projects for the Fulcrum DoD IT contract Project/Program Manager’s and their IT Team Leads. I also assist with program and procedural guidance, standardization of contract management processes, and corporate reach-back. My support includes rolling up my sleeves and providing direct, billable on-site technical engineering, general network oversight and surge support as needed for client initiatives and contract requirements.• Give feedback and insight on monitoring network/system performance; collect and analyze log files from networked devices to proactively predict issues and identify anomalies, provide reports to management and lessons-learned to staff; utilize available network tools to troubleshoot non-routine, complex technical issues; work through technical challenges with teams as a Tier III network engineer asset.• Mentor and assist the PM’s with team management, recruiting, training and retention efforts/events; often, just being there for them to bounce ideas/issues off me to ensure everyone is on the same page.• Contribute technical data and reports, writing and feedback in direct support to the Fulcrum business development executives.Fulcrum has presence at more than 25 different CONUS locations, and 10 OCONUS sites.
