As a Data Privacy Officer, I ensure the Bank’s data protection strategy aligns with key regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NDPR, NDPA 2023, and ISO 27001. My role involves:- Ensuring the Bank’s policies comply with GDPR, NDPR, NDPA 2023, ISO 27001, and industry best practices.- Developing, implementing, and continuously improving data protection policies to safeguard customer and employee data.- Leading Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) to identify privacy risks and apply mitigation strategies.- Supervising staff training programs and promoting a culture of data privacy across the organization.- Overseeing third-party data protection to ensure vendor compliance with privacy and security standards.- Embedding privacy by design principles into IT projects across the Bank.- Coordinating the Bank’s response to data breaches, ensuring timely action and communication.- Managing data subject access requests (DSARs) and ensuring the exercise of data rights.- Maintaining accurate records of data processing and compliance activities for audits.- Collaborating with Legal, IT, and Risk departments to integrate privacy into contracts and systems.- Continuously reviewing and updating data protection policies in line with evolving regulations.- Utilizing tools such as SIEM for real-time monitoring of security events, Imperva for data protection and application security, and Delinea for managing privileged access to sensitive data and systems.

- Configuration and administration of Access Points (APs) and Radios.- Computer hardware installation and maintenance.- Installation and timely updates of software applications.- Conducting site surveys and setting up Point-to-Point networks, specializing in Ubiquiti Radios.- Continuous monitoring of clients' sites to maintain excellent Quality of Service (QoS) delivery.
