Business Development Manager for Swarm Medical.Worked with local distributors in order to gain new product approval into several hospitals and systems including the University of Maryland. We collaborated with other distributors to share some strengths and access to facilities.

I managed and recruited distributors and direct sales reps in the North Central, Northeast and MidAtlantic attaining quota each quarter. Xtant had a very strong biologics line and an older hardware line. 85% of the business was biologics and was growing. I hired the first direct sales rep for the company in Chicago. I left for the startup opportunity at Integrity. IDNs I worked with include: NYU, HSS, Virtua, Atlantic Health, St. Joseph’s(NJ), Elmhurst Hospital, Swedish Covenant and more.

I managed the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic areas for Life Spine attaining quotas each quarter. They had just launched their expandable cage and we worked on approvals at many hospital systems including Steward, Sentara, Bon Secours Richmond, South Shore Health System, Doctors Community Hospital and more.

I managed the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic areas for K2M. I had half independent distributors and half direct sales reps in branches. I went from a quota of $14M in 2010 to a quota of $38M in 2015. We went public in May 2014. K2M was big in deformity surgery, but did quite a bit of degenerative surgeries also. I worked with many IDNs and hospitals including: WVU, CAMC, Cabell Huntington, Sentara, Novant, INOVA, Medstar, Johns Hopkins, U of MD, Thomas Jefferson, Geisinger, HSS, NYU, St. Josephs(NJ), Partners, UPMC and more.

A sales representative in the southern portion of Baltimore. I took over an empty territory and immediately doubled the business. As a reward, I was moved to the north part of Baltimore where I had previous relationships. We launched the Prodisc-C and I continually exceeded quota based on growth with this new product. I worked with MedStar, University of Maryland, St. Agnes and GBMC. I was elected to the Sales Senate by my peers in my region.

I covered 12 facilities in Baltimore carrying Kyphoplasty products. I made quota 2 out of 3 quarters and brought or reinvigorated multiple new surgeons. When Kyphon bought St. Francis’s X-Stop, I helped train the rest of my region on the implantation of and how to sell hardware into hospital systems.

I started with the state of Maryland as my territory and by the time I finished it had been cut several times down to half of the city of Baltimore. I grew my revenue from a run rate of $168K when I started to over $2M in my last year. I worked with GBMC, University of Maryland, Valley Health and Medstar.

I covered Maryland, DC and Delaware selling craniomaxillofacial implants and distraction osteogenesis devices. I worked with Childrens National MC, Medstar, Adventist Health, Hagerstown MC, U of MD Shock Trauma, Wilmington Hospital (DE) and Easton Memorial Hospital. I made quota each year and was a top performer in the company and my region.

I was a division officer on a U.S. Navy destroyer, the USS Peterson DD-969 based out of Norfolk, VA. I was the First Lieutenant and DCA in my three years aboard Peterson. My second duty station was in Newport, RI at the Surface Warfare Command. I served as an instructor for the Surface Warfare Officers School for two years. I was awarded two Navy Commendation Medals and a Navy Achievement Medal amongst other campaign ribbons.
