After performing research into the projected growth of the home services market and after completing 2 and 1/2 years as a sole proprietor of a residential housekeeping business in the Portland, OR tri-county area, I am entering Phase II of this project as of 2/2023. In this phase I am distilling all of the discovery, research and experience into a development strategy and business plan for a novel, disruptive business model delivering a complete turnkey, cloud based home services solution empowering individuals to quickly, easily and successfully start, operate, maintain and grow a profitable business for less than $200.

As a Residential Advocate I facilitated services for homeless clients at the Doreen's Place and Clark Center residential service sites. As a Residential Advocate I was the face of Transition Projects for most of the client population. Job duties included making rounds; monitoring the security and safety of the facility at all times, engaging clients and mediating conflicts, logging shelter events and occurrences into the system, as well as directing and referring residents to resources.

Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences, including employee newsletters board member reports. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.Plan and direct development and communication of informational programs to maintain favorable public media perceptions the organization's accomplishments and agenda.Confer with the President and other board members to produce or coordinate production of advertisements and promotions.Arrange public appearances, radio remotes, promotions, special holiday events or exhibits for venues and local communities to increase park awareness and to promote goodwill.Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for products, organizations, or individuals.Prepare and deliver press releases and public service announcements to further public relations objectives.Develop trade/barter and co-marketing advertising programs to promote the Park and the Mystical Magic of the Endangered Show.

Prospect and find new clients via attendance at industry and networking events, telemarketing, advertising and contacting the competitions client base.Develop and maintain positive relationships with past clients for future business through the design and development of a client database keeping in touch with past clients through phone calls, emails, letters and personal meetings.Responsible for drafting proposals, developing sample menus, arranging presentations and tastings for clients to finalize the program and close the contract.Successful design, set-up and execution of all catered events by leveraging timely, appropriate communication skills, teamwork, and positive leadership charisma with clients as well as the catering team.Meeting and greeting the event planner and key personnel at the beginning of the event, introducing the banquet captain, servers and any other key staff members to the client and remaining in attendance to ensure the event goes as planned and according to standards.

Strategic marketing to put a positive spin on a product line of handheld computing software applications. Promotion of the Synergy products and brand via print advertising and press releases distributed to the media in both national and vertical markets.Management of company website, email marketing campaigns,and direct mail programs for product launches, upgrades and revisions. Monitor current industry, market and consumer trends in addition to competitive analysis to assist Synergy's efforts to expand their install-base.

Responsible for management of advertising budgets in excess of $500k, including media purchasing, planning, and Insertion schedule management in catalog, print and Internet mediaSuccessfully lead teams of up to 10 for advertising production, expo presentations, copywriting & proofing.Implemented e-commerce strategies to quadruple online sales and product visibility in the emerging e-commerce marketplace.
