I am a 4th-year statistics major at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I currently am in the process of obtaining my undergraduate degree in Stats with a focus on data and information systems. For the past few summers, I have had the opportunity to intern at Ford Motor Company in the Data Factory and Global Data Insight and Analytics teams. With ford, I have had the chance to learn new platforms such as Google Cloud Portal, Big Query, SQL, Alteryx, Qlick Sense, and much more. With these skills, I built data pipelines, workflows, and interactive dashboards. I've also had lots of experience with SQL, using it in data management. This may include organizing, searching, and much more data sets sometimes containing tens of millions of inputs. I've also had lots of experience with C++, python, and SQL at the University of Michigan. Over the years I have not only learned how to code, but I've built many things along the way. I built an image processing program, a simulated and playable EUCHRE card game, a web backend, and a machine learning algorithm, a calculator that analyzes data using mathematical formulas, a simulated and manual battleship game, and many more. I am inspired by the future of data analytics and look forward to having the opportunity to learn more about data and computer science.
