I joined PostUp to bridge the leadership and communication gap between the board / C-Suite and the existing software development teams (two development teams and a QA team). PostUp sends roughly 1.5 billion emails monthly on behalf of clients and includes a web-based product, API, data collection, and analytics systems.

As the first hire at Khorus Software, I was heavily involved across the company in both a tactical and strategic capacity. My primary focus was on development, QA, and DevOps. I built most of the first version of the product before building teams. I worked directly with the CEO, our subject matter expert, to define what the software would do and how it would behave. I informally served as the technical product manager for over half of my time at Khorus. The application was written with Ruby on Rails and a Postgres database and Ruby with Sinatra on a MongoDB data store.

The appliance is a CLI-based Java application on a custom Linux OS with a Hypersonic database. The management system is a Java-based web application using an Oracle database.

The application allows companies to configure, control, monitor, and report on the use of purchasing cards by employees. Corporations, higher education, and municipalities use the Works platform. It is a SaaS product written in Java with an MS SQL database.

I worked at PaySys alternating quarters while I was a student at Georgia Tech. I contributed to the company's credit card processing software by performing quality assurance and data modeling.

I provided technical support over the phone and to coworkers while overseeing a group of up to 25 people.
